Trinity College 三一學院

三一學院是愛爾蘭最古老的大學，也是遊客來到都柏林的必訪之處。

Trinity College, Dublin is a must for tourists coming to Ireland. It's the oldest college in Ireland.

花了十歐參加30分鐘的導覽，憑票根可以到老圖書館裡面看Book of Kell還有Long Room。

I spent 10 euros for a 30-minute tour. The ticket also enabled tourists to go into the Old Library to see the Book of Kell and the Long Room.

校園的中央是國會廣場。為什麼叫做國會廣場呢？其實是因為這個廣場由國會出資重建。來到三一學院的這天是這學期的第一天，學校半了一系列的活動歡迎新生，所以廣場中人山人海。

In the middle of the campus lies the Parliament Plaza. Why is it called the Parliament Square? Actually, the reconstruction was funded by the Parliament. It was the first day of this term, and they were holding a series events to welcome their freshers. That's why the square was so crowded. 

這棟宿舍的設計出自蘇格蘭建築師之手，但是他從頭到尾都沒到都柏林看過，所以就出差錯了，屋頂直接跟窗戶對撞。

This dorm was built by a Scottish architect. Saying "built" is not entirely correct because he didn't even come to Dublin during the construction. This, in turn, led to an unexpected consequence - the roof run directly into a window. 

Old Library裡面有上百萬冊藏書，Book of Kell也在此展示。

The Old Library has millions of books. The Book of Kell was also on display here. 

走進Long Room聞到的是歷史和古書的味道，讓人無可自拔。

The Long Room. When you enter the Long Room, you will be overwhelmed by the smell of time and of old books.

學者廣場（暫譯），只有學校裏面的學者可以踩上或走過。
