My days in Galway/Galway數日

Joe跟我說很多人到了Galway之後就會在那邊定居。我原本以為他太誇張了，結果Joe說的是真的。

Joe told me that many people would visit Galway and then decide to stay there for many years. I thought it was just an overstatement. But Joe turned out to be speaking of the truth. 

Galway很小，非常小！每個地方都在步行範圍內，但小歸小，我還是很愛Galway。這邊的人都很友善，跟人說話時都臉帶微笑。這邊的酒吧也很棒，在Kings’ Head可以喝到一些很不錯的啤酒還有愛爾蘭咖啡（我來到歐洲後喝過最棒的咖啡）。

Galway is a small city. Very small! Every place is within walking distance. I still love it, though. People here are very nice. They are always smiling when talking to you. Bars here are nice. You can get some good pints of beers and good Irish coffee (the best coffee I've had since I came to Europe) in King's Head. 

有很多糖果店

There are many sweet shops in Ireland.

愛爾蘭咖啡。調酒師說要做出好喝愛爾蘭咖啡，訣竅就是別把奶油打太發。

Irish coffee. The bartender said that the tip to make good Irish coffee was not over-whipping the cream.

這邊有美麗的碼頭和沙灘。

They have a beautiful quay and beach.

用力的踩在沙灘上，想要絡下深深的腳印，但無論我怎麼用力，腳印還是糢糢糊糊的。這就是人生，再怎麼努力想要在別人心中留下印象，但到頭來卻徒勞無功。（好做作）

I stamped heavily on the beach, trying to leave a clear footprint there. No matter how hard I tried, the footprint was still unclear. It's life. No matter how hard you try to impress people, you leave them with no impression. (so arty)

Lying on the ground with two Bullmers. (I actually had spent quite some time wandering in bookstores and deciding whether or not to buy a book to read at the quay.)

還是喜歡原味。

I still like Bullmers Original.

旅館裡面有很多免費的食材，但我一直到幾天後才知道……

There were a lot of free ingredients in the hostel. I hadn't known that until several days later...
