Something: The second day in Singapore 星國第二日

原本打算要去松發肉骨茶吃早午餐。這家店應該離旅舍不遠，但是我再次迷路，沒找著，只好去牛車水一家感覺有很多常客的店吃。

I planned to go to have my brunch at Song Fa Day & Night Bak Kut Teh. The shop should be near the hostel. Again, however, I didn't find the restaurant, so I went to another Bak Kut Teh restaurant in Chinatown. This restaurant seems to have many regular customers.

吃完早午餐後，就搭捷運到小印度。我在捷運站買了standard ticket，每張最多可用6次。買票的時候要付0.1元新幣押金，使用第三次就可以退壓，第六次會有0.1元折扣。

After having my brunch, I took the MRT to Little India. I bought a standard ticket at the MRT station. A standard ticket can be used for up to 6 trips. On buying the standard ticket, one has pay 10 cents as the card deposit. Cardholders will get a refund on adding the third trips and enjoy a10-cent discount for the sixth trip.

車廂比台灣的大很多。

The space in the train is larger when compared to the MRT in Taiwan.

在小印度點了美祿恐龍和拉茶。

I had Mino Dino and Teh Tarik at a food court in Little India

逛完小印度後，轉移陣地到烏節路，路上看到行銷台灣觀光的廣告。在異鄉看到「台灣」感覺真棒。

After having a tour in Little India, I took the MRT to Orchard Road. On my way to Orchard Road, I saw ads promoting Taiwan's tourism. It's really good to see the word Taiwan in another country.

在ION吃了班蘭起司捲，但是起司味太重，吃不到班蘭味。

I had a slice of Pandan cheese roll at ION. However, the flavor of cheese is too strong, so I couldn't taste the flavor of Pandan.

吃水果有益健康。在Shaw買了一些水果，番橄欖立馬攫獲我的目光。吃起來脆脆的，就像芭樂。

Fruits are good for your health. I bought some fruits at Shaw. Kedongdong immediately caught my eye immediately. It tasted crunchy, just like guavas.

也買了紅毛丹和亞達子。

I also bought a stick of Rambutan and attap seed.

下雨了，於是就決定要去Oriole。路上遇到一位很好心的當地人，多虧有他，一下子就找到了。

It started to rain, so I decided to visit Oriole. This cafe is located near Chinatown. On my way to the cafe, I met a friendly SIngaporean (I was mistaken as a Singaporean quite often). Thanks to him, I had little diffiulties locating the cafe.

照例點了一杯卡布，喝起來很甜，有牛奶糖喉韻。

As usual, I ordered a cup of cappuccino. It tasted sweet with good caramel aftertaste.

甜味和牛奶糖喉韻太令人驚艷了，不知道是不是因為牛奶。為了求證，又點了一杯expresso。結果甜味和牛奶糖味就是這支豆子的味道。

I was amazed by its sweetness and caramel aftertaste, and I wondered whether it's milk that rendered the coffee sweet. To find out the truth, I ordered a double expresso. The truth is that the sweetness and caramel aftertaste come from the expresso blend.

ACF！我原本有兩組，但是摔破了一組。看到價錢沒？

Not knowing how to get to Merlion Park, I resorted to a staff member at a MRT station. She gave me this note. It seemed that a lot of people had asked her for the direction to the park.
